Journal of Interventional Neuroradiology is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes articles in the field of minimally invasive technologies and procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological diseases. The content of the journal is directed towards both basic scientists and clinicians in this field.

Martin Schumacher

Martin SchumacherMartin Schumacher is currently Director of the Clinic for Neuroradiology, at the University Hospital, Freiburg in Germany. He is also past President of the European Society of Neuroradiology.

Professor Schumacher's clinical interests are treatment and experimental work in cerebral aneurysms, arterio-venous malformations and recanalization techniques in acute cerebral vessel occlusion. Additional topics of his clinical an scientific work are biopsy procedures in neurological and neurosurgical disease, angiographic, CT and MR diagnostic procedures in cerebral circulatory disturbance and malformations, as well as biomechanics and diseases of the spine.

He is author of more than 350 international scientific publications.


Adnan Qureshi

Adnan QureshiAdnan Qureshi is currently Associate Head of the Department of Neurology, at the University of Minnesota and Executive Director of the Minnesota Stroke Initative.

Professor Qureshi's clinical interests include cerebrovascular diseases, stroke, endovascular surgical neuroradiology and interventional radiology. His research interests include acute treatment of hypertension in stroke, endovascular treatment of ischemic stroke and treatment of intracerebral hemorrhage.

He is also the Chair of the Research Subcomittee for the American Society of Interventional Therapeutic Neuroradiology.


Ossama Mansour

Ossama MansourOssama Mansour is Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology and Interventional Neuroradiology and Director of the Neurovascular Center at Alexandria University in Egypt. He is also Vice President of the Society of Minimally Invasive Neurological Therapeutic Procedures.

Dr Mansour's clinical interests include vascular and endovascular neurology, diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology, head and neck imaging, stroke functional neuroimaging, neurosonology, vertebral augmentation and spine interventions.
